Can I buy tickets at the event?

Tickets are available for purchase at the event. You may buy your tickets at the event but please note that it is cash only. By doing so you will not have to pay the credit card and convenience fees the online ticket sales charge you.

Do you charge for parking?

No, we do not charge for parking.

What is your inclement weather policy?

Accepted Answer

Weather policy: We are open rain or shine. If it is lightly raining, we will continue to run customers through the attraction. Sometimes we will pause the show for a bit due to downpours. When the rain lets up, we then resume the show. Our show is indoors and outdoors so please dress accordingly.

Remember, your tickets can be use for any dates we are open during the show season.

It has rained a lot the last few days. What should I expect?

Please understand we are positioned on 15 acres of property. We are an inside and outside attraction. We do our best by putting out LOTS of gravel everywhere our customers have to walk, but it still may be muddy in places with wet puddles if it has just rained. Please do not wear your favorite white sandals then get mad at us when you get them dirty.

What should I wear?

We recommend you wear comfortable clothes with closed toe shoes. There is a lot of walking over gravel, rough and uneven terrain.

I do not like to wait in long lines. What are my best options?

Accepted Answer

Please understand that during busy times of the season any good Haunted House is going to have a long wait. Here are a few suggestions to help alleviate some of your wait time:
Come early in the season.
Come on a Sunday or weekday. 
Come at or before opening time. 
Lastly, we do have a “Fast Scare Pass” you can purchase. This will allow you to skip the line and have a much shorter wait.

How long is the wait time?

There are so many factors involved i.e. when you showed up, how many people came before you, what time of the evening it is. There is absolutely no way we can give you an accurate answer to this question until you are physically at the location.

Question 9

I purchased my ticket for today and it says from 7pm-12am. Do I have to be there at 7pm?

Accepted Answer

No, you do not. Anytime between 7pm-12am is fine. The times listed are the times that our ticket booth is open and when we allow people to enter the park.

Question 10

If I arrive minutes before you close, will I still get to go through the show?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as you are in the park by the time we close, you will get to go through all of the attractions you have purchased.

Question 11

I purchased tickets for the wrong date or I couldn’t make it on the date I purchased the tickets for. What can I do now?

Accepted Answer

Don’t worry, your tickets will still be good for any date through the rest of the Halloween season. We only ask that you purchased tickets for a particular date so that we can gauge our crowd sizes for that night.

Do you have an age restriction?

Age Restrictions: We do not have any age restrictions, however all guests under 17 must be accompanied by an adult. We do like for you to know that the haunted walkthrough “The Parker House” is a high energy, high impact Haunted House. It is not intended for small children (you know your child better then we do). Outbreak is an attraction intended for the whole family.

I purchased tickets online, but I am no longer going to use them. How do I get a refund?

Refund Policy: We have a strict No Refund policy on all of our tickets. However, the tickets are transferable if you decide to give them away or sell them to an individual. The holder of an “unused” QR code will be granted entry.

Question 14

I entered one of the attractions and asked to leave because I was too scared. Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, no. You paid us to entertain you, as well as scare you. We did just that.

Question 15

I came on a very busy night and I did not want to wait. Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

No. All sales are final. However, you may return another night (that is less busy) to use your ticket.

Question 16

Can I wear a costume?

Accepted Answer

You may wear a costume as long as they are not oversized, where they would interfere with the other guests, and not offensive by way of race, or gender. You also are not allowed to wear face covering/masks inside the attractions.

If I purchased a general admission ticket, will I be allowed to upgrade to a fast scare pass if I feel the need to once I have arrived?

Accepted Answer

You may upgrade your tickets at any time if you feel the need. Just remember that our ticket booth accepts cash only.

Can I change my ticket type from a single attraction to a combo ticket?

Accepted Answer

Yes you may. Bring the ticket you already purchased to the ticket booth at the location and they will upgrade your ticket to the one desired by only charging you the difference.

Do you have food and drinks on site?

Accepted Answer

We do have several food, drink and snack options. From full-blown food truck meals to popcorn and cotton candy.

What kind of restroom facilities are available?

We have port-a-potties available for use.

How do I apply to work at the haunted house?

We have our open casting calls posted on our Facebook page (click here) starting in July and going though until we start our season. You may also email us at dfwfrightnights@gmail.com.

Can I show up before the gates open?

Accepted Answer

You may arrive at the property before the gates open. We have limited space for cars to line up outside of the gate before they will be on the street. We do monitor this and do our best to keep this from happening by opening the gates a little early or by using our overflow parking lot.

However, please keep in mind that stopping/standing/parking on the street prior to entering our property is not allowed by The Parker House due to it being illegal and highly dangerous.

Can I bring my animal (support, or pet) into the park or show?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the event and the amount of guests we have in a small space, we have to ask that you leave pets at home.

Question 24

Do you have to have a ticket to enter the park if you're not going to enter the attractions?

Accepted Answer

No, you do not. You are allowed to sit in our courtyard and enjoy the entertainment we have set. You may also sit in your car in the parking lot if you choose.

Question 25

I lost something while going through your attraction. What can I do?

Accepted Answer

You will need to email dfwfrightnights@gmail.com with a description of the item. After closing, staff will look for your item and get back to you when/if it is found.

Is there anything else to do at the park other than going through the attractions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have an area set up to watch dancing lights going to music. There is also a concession stand with popcorn and cotton candy as well as food trucks and even a custom print t-shirt shack on site.
