Dr. Richard Bennett, director of the Ratliff Sanitarium, was a very well respected leader in the community. However, patients of the sanitarium have a different opinion of the good doctor. It seems that after the disappearance of his beloved daughter, Abigail, he began to take out all his frustrations and despair on the residents of the facility through a series of unethical treatments and therapies.

Upon the discovery of the happenings at The Parker Home, he was sure that Mary Parker had something to do with his missing daughter. When she was brought into the sanitarium, he made it his mission to make sure she suffered greatly during her time there, along with all those who attempted to protect her.
